LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 6, 2018) – PRSSA-LB has published a new, dynamic event calendar on the chapter website. The page contains details on every event confirmed for the Spring 2018 semester and will be updated throughout the semester with newly approved events.
The new calendar is part of PRSSA-LB’s transition to a digital media-driven communications platform. “With this new improvement to the website, the chapter can easily provide members with extensive information on events and members will now have better means to find the events most relevant to their goals,” said chapter president Jazmin Lucero. In addition to PRSSA-LB events, the new calendar will feature events hosted by related organizations including neighboring PRSSA chapters and the Long Beach State Bateman Team.
PRSSA-LB is a chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) located at California State University Long Beach (CSULB). The organization prepares students for their careers in public relations by providing opportunities for networking and professional development. Members of PRSSA-LB have access to guest speaker events, various career tours and exclusive newsletter content. The chapter was founded in 1972 by PR professional and CSULB professor Frank Winston Wylie and continues to thrive as a premier network of future PR professionals.
