Executive Board Roles
The Chapter President is in charge of managing the responsibilities of the executive board and is the communication channel to the chapter’s faculty advisor and the PRSSA National Board.
The Vice President is also in charge of managing the responsibilities of the executive board as well as being the communication channel to the chapter professional advisor.
The chapter administrator is formerly known as the director of finance and secretary. The chapter administrator should carry out the administrative tasks for the chapter such as booking rooms for events and meetings, managing the finances for the chapter, creates the agenda for the weekly board meetings and checks in members to all events
The web designer is in charge of updating the website regularly with events as they are rescheduled, uploading new blogs and press materials to the website. The website designer should also ensure that the website has a user-friendly interface and seamless functionality.
Director of Fundraising and Events
The Director of Fundraising and Events is in charge of executing fundraisers and events to sustain the growth of our chapter: such as the membership scholarship program and the annual banquet.
Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager is in charge of managing social media platforms to ensure our communication efforts go out in a timely and aesthetic manner.
The Creative Director is tasked with creating promotional graphics for chapter social media channels. The Creative Director works closely with the the Social Media Manager to maintain the aesthetic over the different social media channels. In addition, they are in charge of creating any additional materials used for the chapter.
Director of Membership
The Director of Membership is in charge of managing new and renewing memberships, as well as submitting them to the national organization. They are also responsible for distributing a weekly newsletter to all members and be the driving force in recruiting efforts.
Director of Diversity and Inclusion
The Director of Diversity and Inclusion will help to create and implement inclusion, mentoring and member recruitment programs to ensure all underrepresented groups and voices are heard. They will contribute to weekly board meeting and brainstorming sessions, will interact with members to provide valuable feedback and will work closely with the Director of Membership to find and create opportunities for underrepresented students.
Director of Alumni Relations
The Director of Alumni Relations is in charge of keeping an updated list of PRSSA-LB alumni with current contact information and fostering ongoing relationships with PRSSA-LB alumni. The Director of Alumni Relations works closely with the Director of Fundraising and Events to target PRSSA-LB alumni for donations and helps to choose notable alumni to honor at the end of the year banquet.
