BATEMAN
The Bateman Case Study Competition is PRSSA’s premier national case study competition for public relations students, giving them the opportunity to apply their classroom education and internship experiences to create and implement a full public relations campaign for a real client. The PRSSA-LB Bateman team has placed in the top three or received an honorable mention, 17 out of the past 24 years they have participated in the Bateman Competition. Past clients include Coca-Cola, VISA, United Way Worldwide, Ally Financial, and the U.S. Census Bureau.
The Bateman Case Study Competition satisfies JOUR 485 Public Relations Agency: This course develops advanced public relations problem-solving skills. Students create strategic public relations plans and execute a comprehensive public relations program by serving as a student run public relations agency and working with actual clients for the Bateman Case Study Competition.

2025 CLIENT: EVERYLIBRARY INSTITUTE
For 2025, students are challenged to develop a campaign on behalf of EveryLibrary and the EveryLibrary Institute. EveryLibrary is the only national 504(c)4 political action committee for libraries. Their mission is to support public libraries on Election Days, stabilize school library budgets, guard against book bans, and engage with state legislatures alongside partner organizations. This year's Competition will focus on positioning EveryLibrary as the leading national organization for library activists, donors, and users.
The deadline for the Intent-to-Enter is Oct. 21, 2024.
